How to Rearrange Pages in a PDF
Pages end up in the wrong order more often than they should: a stack fed into the scanner backwards, a merged file assembled in the wrong sequence, a report whose summary belongs up front. Reordering by page number is guesswork — the reliable way is to see every page and drag it where it belongs.
Step by step
- Open the organizer and choose your PDF — every page renders as a thumbnail on your device.
- Drag pages into the right order. The grid always shows the document you're about to produce.
- Rotate or delete stray pages in the same pass with each tile's buttons.
- Apply changes and download the rebuilt file.
Tips that save a retry
- A stack scanned in reverse? Drag the last page first and work backwards — or split, reverse mentally, and re-merge for very long documents.
- On a phone, drag works with touch; tap selects for extraction instead.
Questions
Does reordering change quality?
No — pages are copied unchanged into the new order.
Can I pull a few pages into a new file while I'm at it?
Yes — tap pages to select them and use “Extract selected”.
